Reckless Drivers Are Out of Control in New Hampshire

SpeedingCar

Reckless drivers are all too common in New Hampshire. If you’re lucky, you might simply witness a near miss or a slight collision. If you’re not so fortunate, you might suffer serious injuries as a result of these reckless drivers – injuries that require expensive treatment. You might also suffer missed wages, emotional distress, and a range of other damages. Recently, a number of reckless drivers have shown just how dangerous these individuals can be in New Hampshire.

New Hampshire Faces Two Wrong-Way Crashes in Three Days

Recently, New Hampshire has seen two serious wrong-way crashes within the space of just three days. On June 25th, it was reported that five vehicles had been involved in a collision caused by a wrong-way driver in Nashua. Someone was apparently driving the wrong way down the F.E. Everett Turnpike at around 10:30 PM. The 29-year-old individual then struck another vehicle, and the two cars erupted into flames. It was only thanks to quick extrication that she survived the fiery crash. However, the damage continued as three other vehicles crashed into the first two, causing a number of serious injuries in the process. Authorities say that the circumstances of this crash are still under investigation.

Three days later on June 28th, it was reported that another woman had been driving the wrong way down a street in Bedford when she caused a serious crash. The 30-year-old individual is now facing a number of criminal charges, including reckless operation and two counts of lack of child restraints. The latter charges involve two children in the defendant’s car who were not wearing seatbelts. One of these children suffered a laceration to the head, while another was hospitalized for minor concerns. Another adult passenger suffered a broken wrist and a hip injury.

Stolen Motorcycle Riders Cause Serious Injuries

On June 23rd, it was reported that two motorcycle riders had suffered serious injuries while fleeing from the police in Franklin. The motorcyclists were carrying meth and fentanyl, and they will face felony drug charges. The motorcycle was also stolen, having been taken from Farmington months earlier. The defendants suffered non-life-threatening injuries. This incident highlights the reckless, drug-fueled nature of many drivers in New Hampshire. Fortunately, no members of the public were harmed in this incident.
