In an official statement, the bus company insisted that there is “nothing more important than the safety and well-being of the students.” They also vowed to carry out their own independent review, confirming that the driver had been placed on administrative leave. Fatal Dump Truck Crash Reported in Ossipee 

Earlier in May, a dump truck crash in Ossipee caused one fatality. The dump truck and a small SUV collided on Route 28, and local police say they’re not quite sure what caused the crash. The collision killed the driver of the SUV and knocked the dump truck onto its side. These factors would suggest that the collision occurred at a relatively high speed.
