Road Rage Potentially to Blame for Recent Three-Vehicle Crash in New Hampshire

RoadRage2

Almost all drivers in New Hampshire are familiar with road rage, and some probably feel unsafe on the road because of this issue. People seem to get incredibly stressed when behind the wheel, and this can easily lead to serious crashes. Such was the case in New Hampshire after a recent three-vehicle collision. Police say the crash may have been sparked by road rage. What can you do if a negligent, reckless driver causes you to suffer injuries? Can a New Hampshire car accident lawyer help?

Witness Says Driver Crossed the Center Line Due to Road Rage

In December of 2025, The Laconia Daily Sun reported that a three-vehicle crash had led to two injuries in Meredith. The incident occurred on Route 25 at about 6:15 PM, and it was reportedly caused by a Ford Super Duty. Local police aren’t sure why, but the 47-year-old driver of the pickup truck crossed the center line before sparking the three-vehicle crash.

After crossing the center line, the truck impacted a Mitsubishi Lancer. The truck then continued to veer across the lane while heading into incoming traffic, striking a Toyota Tundra before finally coming to a stop.

The driver of the Ford Super Duty seems to have suffered “serious, but not life-threatening” injuries. The driver of the Toyota suffered only minor injuries and decided not to visit the nearest hospital. Somehow, the driver of the Mitsubishi and their single occupant walked away with no injuries whatsoever.

When questioning witnesses at the scene, police discovered that someone driving behind the Ford Super Duty had been observing the driver moments before the crash. According to this witness, the pickup truck driver had been exhibiting signs of road rage leading up to the crash. The Laconia Daily News did not go into specifics about these allegations, but it is obviously something that local police are taking seriously.

Investigators are urging anyone with more information about the collision to come forward. Perhaps they are trying to determine whether this witness’ observations are accurate. In any case, they did not file any charges against the Super Duty driver. They also determined that snow probably wasn’t a contributing factor to the collision.

How Can I Prove Road Rage Led to My Accident?

Your lawyer can help you gather evidence and question witnesses, potentially establishing that the at-fault driver was struggling with road rage issues before the crash. However, you generally do not need to prove the existence of road rage in order to achieve success in your auto accident claim. Instead, all you really need to do is establish that someone else made some kind of mistake that led directly to your crash. Simply crossing the center line could be enough of a mistake in this context.
