Teens Cause Two Major Crashes in New Hampshire

TeenDriverAcc

Teen drivers can be some of the most dangerous people on the road. These individuals often have little experience, and they may be more prone to risky behavior like speeding and driving while intoxicated. Two recent incidents in New Hampshire show that teenagers continue to cause major incidents on our roads. If you were injured by a reckless teen driver, you might want to speak with an experienced auto accident lawyer in New Hampshire.

Teenager Arrested After Crashing and Injuring His Passengers

In late April of 2025, a teenager was arrested after crashing his vehicle and injuring two of his passengers. The two injured individuals are also teenagers, and this led to child endangerment charges for the driver. It is worth noting that even though the driver is also a teen, he is an 18-year-old and a legal adult. This explains the child endangerment charges.

Police say that the defendant’s Subaru reached a speed of 125 miles per hour before crashing into various traffic signs. The crash came after a police pursuit and a failed traffic stop on I-95, a highway that has established a terrible reputation for serious crashes in recent months and years. Fortunately, the two injured passengers suffered only minor injuries.

The defendant was charged with felony reckless conduct, aggravated DUI, child endangerment, disobeying an officer, driving without a license, criminal mischief, and other offenses.

Teen Accused of Intentionally Ramming Motorcyclist in Litchfield

In May of 2025, another teen in New Hampshire was arrested on murder charges after allegedly crashing into a motorcyclist on purpose. The 19-year-old is accused of driving under the influence and pursuing the rider into oncoming traffic, ultimately colliding with a third vehicle and causing absolute mayhem.

Police officers investigated this incident and came to their conclusions based on witness statements and other evidence. As a result, the defendant is now facing charges of second-degree murder, manslaughter, negligent homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated DUI, reckless conduct, witness tampering, and vehicular assault. If convicted, it is likely that this individual will remain behind bars for an extremely long time.

Can I Sue After a Crash Caused by a Teen?

You may be able to file an injury claim after a crash caused by a teen. You’ll need to determine whether the teen had insurance or whether they were even legally allowed to drive, as this could affect your route to compensation. In some situations, it may be possible to hold parents liable for the actions of their teens.
