Donald Manning, who is the marketing director at Manning & Zimmerman Law, is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire where he earned a Master of Arts degree in Public Administration. Donald also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor in Political Science from Idaho State University.
Donald’s professional experience includes working for the New Hampshire House of Representatives and State Senate for 18 years, including serving as House Chief of Staff. He was twice selected to attend the Legislative Staff Management Institute; at the University of Minnesota’s Hubert Humphrey School of Public Affairs and the University of California at Sacramento’s School of Public Affairs.
Donald presently serves on the State House Bicentennial Commission as an appointee of the Speaker of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. The commission is charged with planning an observance and celebration of the 200-year anniversary of the State House in 2019. He also currently serves on the Manchester Heritage Commission and is a board member of the Manchester Historic Association. Donald has also served on the New Hampshire Ballot Law Commission, the state body that decides election disputes and hears appeals from recounts, was appointed by Governor John Lynch to the Judicial Conduct Committee’s Alternate Panel, and has served on the Athletic Trainers Governing Board. Donald was a member of Manchester’s Riverfront Park Foundation, serving a term as president.
